Video: Have you seen a BFG? It’s nearly time for Roald Dahl’s tale to come to life

It’s time for the legendary BFG or Big Friendly Giant to meet a whole new generation of kids. For those of us who remember reading the book, and had subsequent nightmares about being snatched from our beds, you might feel a little bit braver watching the movie version with your kids or nieces and nephews now you’re a grown up.

I personally was convinced that living in a bungalow would save me as the bad giants usually stole children from the first floor windows… But now the BFG has been given the movie make over by Steven Spielberg and is set for release on July 22nd.

The BFG is the exciting tale of a young London girl and the mysterious Giant who introduces her to the wonders and perils of Giant Country. Based on the beloved novel by Roald Dahl, The BFG was first published in 1982 and has been enchanting readers of all ages ever since.

Dahl’s books, which also include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, Matilda and Fantastic Mr. Fox, are currently available in 58 languages and have sold over 200 million copies worldwide.
