UTV Ireland to be sold to ITV as part of a 136 million euro deal

UTV Ireland which was launched in January of this year looks set to be sold to ITV as part of a 136 million euro deal.

The Dublin based station has reportedly already lost €10 million this year so far.

The company will still retain some of their radio stations like Talksport, FM 104 and Q102.

ITV have said they have no intentions of changing the name of the TV station and its believed that UTV Ireland will continue with that name in the future.
