Dublin rock legends U2 have remained in third place on the Sunday Time’s Music Millionaires Top 50 list this year. Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell topped the list with €965m while composer Andrew Lloyd Webber came in second with €908m. These were the same three on the top of the list last year.
The Music Millionaires list is based on identifiable wealth which includes property, assets and shares in publicly held companies, but excludes bank accounts. It is released ahead of the Time’s Rich List of the 250 wealthiest people in Ireland and the UK, out this weekend.
In fourth place is Elton John with €355m and Mick Jagger takes fifth place with €298m. What we’re wondering however is if that’s excluding bank balances, how much do they actually have?!
Other notable Irish wealthy people on the list are Enya at 28th position and Niall Horan and his fellow One Direction bandmates reached a collective third place in the Under 30s list with €42m.
