The Lighthouse cinema to host nine days of 90’s Horror Films

To get you all in the mood for Halloween, the Lighthouse cinema is hosting nine full days of 90’s Horror movies. The 90s was a significant time for change in the Horror movie genre, with ‘found footage’ movies being all the rage.

Kicking off from Friday October 23rd, the cinema will be showing a weekend full of selected 90s vampire films in association with the Bram Stoker Festival showing From Dusk Till Dawn, Blade I & II, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Following on from that the Lighthouse will also be showing Silence of the Lambs, The Blair Witch Project, Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, Candyman and Hocus Pocus. Finally, the horror ends with a Scream-themed party on October 31st, starting with a screening of Scream I and II, then afterwards a party with ironically-named cocktails, games and 90s music.

What’s not to like?!
