The band will play in the SSE Arena (formally the Odyssey) in Belfast on 18 and 19 November before the come home for no less that four nights at the 3Arena in Dublin on the 23, 24, 27 and 28 November.
Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Monday next 14 November and will be limited to two per person.
“It is the first time the band will perform songs from their recent album Songs of Innocence to a home crowd,” a U2 spokeswoman said.
