To mark the Green Ribbon Campaign on mental health awareness, Tallaght Hospital organised an event entitled “Minding your mind through the ages.”

The talk, which took place on Wednesday, was given by Professor Greg Swanwick in Killinarden Community Centre and is the latest in the Hospital’s ongoing Public Health Education Series.

In addition to Professor Swanwick, the event was also supported by up to 20 mental health organisations and community groups who attended.

Age Action Ireland also supported the event and was in attendance.

It is hoped that the presence of these organisations will increase the awareness of the services available in the community.
