Nando’s at The Square Tallaght tomorrow will be having a student lock in to raise funds for Goodbye Malaria.
Nando’s as we know is well known for their chicken but they are also known for their charity work and about changing lives, and that’s why they have partnered with Goodbye Malaria to change lives in a country very close to their hearts – Mozambique.
This is where their PERi-PERi was cooked for the first time and to this day; much of their chilli comes from PERi-Farms in that region.
Malaria is an epidemic in most communities across Mozambique. Malaria is preventable but 92% of deaths still occur in Sub-Saharan Africa. Goodbye Malaria and Nando’s have been helping to fight this disease over the past decade.
To raise much needed funds the team at Nando’s The Square are holding a student lock in with ITT students and friends tomorrow 27th. There is an jam packed evening planned with 120 tickets sold the evening looks to be one to remember for all involved.
There will be games including “blind taste the sauces” and live music – Hidden Flux from 10pm. There will also be food and drink on the evening.
We spoke to store manager Flora Baes who told us just how much she is looking forward to the evening;
“We can’t wait for the students to come and experience the evening we hope everyone has a blast and hopefully see all these faces return again. We also hope to raise some money for a great cause too”.
