Stephen’s family ask local community to join them tomorrow

The local community will gather together tomorrow night for a vigil to honour the spirit of Stephen Lynch, the extremely popular and much loved young man who’s life was so cruelly ended last Thursday night.

The vigil, which starts at 9pm outside Stephen’s family home in Glenshane, was announced on the Stephen Lynch Memorial Facebook page with the following message:

“We ask the community of Tallaght and surrounding areas to show their support, not only for Stephen, but for each other and for all who we have lost throughout our lives.

“On behalf of Stephen Lynch’s Mother, Father, Siblings, Children, Family and Friends, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, your support is our strength, we just want to show the world how Stephen lived and not how he passed away.”

The manner of Stephen’s death goes beyond all comprehension and the sub human evil that caused it must be brought to justice as soon as possible.

Local Gardai want the public’s help and Superintendent Peter Duff leading the appeal:

He said:

“We are appealing for anyone who saw the movements of a silver Ford Focus hatchback registration 10 WW 1812 or a red car, Volkswagen Polo registration 01 D 9539.”
