Louise Pentland aka Sprinkle of Glitter announces quitting her YouTube channel.

She has 2.5 million subscribers, 150 million views on YouTube and 1.7 million followers on Twitter but she’s giving it all up to start over again.

Louise Pentland, better known as Sprinkle of Glitter, is a British YouTuber who despite her success has decided to quit her current channel to make more mature and less “sugar coated” content.

The 31-year-old lifestyle and beauty blogger/vlogger, who is best friends with YouTube sensation Zoella, says she’s grown up since she began posting videos seven years ago.

Louise posted a video on her YouTube channel and a blog post on her website explaining her reasons for changing what she’s going to post in the future.

She explains how she had to hold back on who she really is “a lot” and so she’s ready for this new chapter.

In the blog post she explains that when Sprinkle of Glitter started, “I was a 24-year-old PA in a corporate. I was engaged, planning a wedding, making new friends, doing up a house and basically, just finding my footing with adulthood. Life was sweet and so was I”.

Since then she has parted ways with her ex-husband, teacher Matt Watson, and is now a single mum trying to do right by her daughter and herself.

“I’m so bored of making things I know will just coast by, not upsetting the apple cart. I want to run free and enjoy it,” she says.

Louise, who has two YouTube channels, has also released two books – Sprinkle of Glitter and Sprinkle of Glitter 2016 Diary: Have the Best Year of Your Life, and has also done live world tours.

Who knows what Louise has planned for this new venture but her YouTube friends and followers have shown massive support on social media suggesting her new channel will receive similar success.
