South Dublin County Council (SDCC) has partnered with The Irish Fairy Door Company once again to create a magical woodland fairy trail, this time in Lucan Demesne.
The interactive fairy trail was officially opened by Mayor Sarah Holland on July 16th and is the latest new family attraction in Dublin, giving young visitors the opportunity to discover a series of handmade wooden Irish Fairy Doors.
Niamh Sherwin-Barry, Director at The Irish Fairy Door Company said, “The staff in South Dublin County Council have really been on board from the start. With trails in both Corkagh Park and Tymon Park already, we are just thrilled to be sending some more fairies over to Lucan to set up home.”
Smartphone technology will also let guests find out all about the 17 individual fairies who live behind each door as they explore the trail.
