Sandra Bullock has confirmed she has become a mother again after adopting a three and a half year old girl called Laila.

The Oscar-winning actress, 51, appears on the cover of People magazine today with her newly-adopted daughter. She reveals to the magazine that Laila, who is three-and-a-half, is from Louisiana and had been in foster care prior to her adoption.

In 2010 Bullock adopted her first child, Louis, who is now 5.
