RUARED launch Then and In Time To Be exhibition

Tallaght’s Arts centre RUA RED launched its latest exhibition, Then and In Time To Be on Saturday May 23rd. The exhibition is hosted in Gallery 1 and 2 and runs from April 25th to May 14th. The exhibition is a 1916 commemoration project between RUA RED and assorted primary and secondary schools, South Dublin Libraries, Tallaght Hospital and Arás Chrónáin cultural centre.

The opening event featured speeches from the Head of the National Gallery of Ireland’s Education Department, Donal Maguire and Deputy Mayor, Councillor Deirdre O’Donovan.

There are tours available and free gallery packs for children. Over 150 local people between the ages of 7 and 90 years of age took part in this 1916 commemoration exhibition that showcases imaginative stories and illustrations of the county’s past and future.
