President Michael D. Higgins was one of many special guests in attendance this evening at The Square Tallaght for the premiere of Irish film Pursuit.
There was great excitement all around the centre as many well known faces arrived for the Irish premiere at IMC Cinema. The first actor to hit the red carpet was Liam Cunningham alongside Don Wycherley and Ruth Bradley.
Members of the public queued amongst the media to catch a glimpse of the famous faces as they flocked to The Square via a fleet of ŠKODA Cars including the ŠKODA Octavia RS which is featured in the film.
Next up saw the arrival of president Michael D. Higgins who was delighted to attend this latest Irish film and to also be alongside such great Irish talent.
Set between Connemara and Spain, ‘Pursuit’ is a modern take on the legend of Diarmuid and Gráinne; a tale of love, betrayal, revenge and the pursuit of a life beyond crime, which features car chases galore, placing the ŠKODA Octavia RS centre stage.
The film features an exciting ensemble of Irish actors from Liam Cunningham, to Brendan Gleeson and it also sees a number of actors from Tallaght including Ciaran O’Brien and Emmet Kirwan.
The film which is set to hit Irish cinemas on September 18. Check out the trailer below.
