The Irish comedian has donated €32,000 to the family of a pregnant woman who died in a car crash in Hobart, Australia last week.

The woman who died, 24-year-old Sarah Paino was 32 weeks pregnant when her vehicle was struck by a stolen car Friday night. The child who was born premature survived the crash along with her two-year-old son.

O’Carroll was appearing on an Australian news show when he heard about the tragedy and offered $50,000 live on air to assist the family at this difficult.time.
