This morning The Square Towncentre welcomed The Works to Level 3.

The store which is famous for it’s arts and craft supplies along with a fantastic selection of books and stationary not to mention toys and games has now found a home in Tallaght much to the delight of many passing customers this morning.

Taking a look around early this morning there was so much on offer and at such great prices too. What ever you are looking for and for any age they have you covered. The arts and crafts section is really impressive, from paints to books on knitting and all kinds of activities. Then there was the fantastic range of games.

We spoke to The Works group CEO Kevin Keaney who was here this morning for the official opening, he told us exactly what customers are to expect from The Works;

“This is our second new store here in Ireland this year and we are looking to open at least five more stores this year. We see ourselves as a family friendly value store with the emphasis on something for the whole family. We have a fantastic range of value books, a huge art craft section its very activity based”.

Kevin also told us how happy he was to finally see the shutter come up here in Tallaght;

“We are very excited and we want the word of mouth to spread. We have heard a lot of brilliant things about Tallaght”.
