The new term for Adult Hula Hoop Dance classes start in Kilnamanagh Family Recreation Centre Tallaght tonight, February 15th and will run every Monday evening from 7.30-8.30pm for one hour. The classes are tailored for absolute beginners and beyond and are suitable for every shape and size; there’s a perfect hoop waiting for you. Hoop teacher Niamh custom-makes the hoops herself and provides them free in class. You are welcome to order one to take home if you wish to keep spinning at home or work between classes.
Learn on body hooping that targets your core abdominal muscles. Burn up to 600 calories per class. Tone your body by learning to manipulate the hoop from knee to neck. Off body hoop tricks incorporate co-ordination and flexibility. Niamh says;
“Starting with one hoop we add in more as we learn together and you can be wielding multi hoops like a spin ninja in no time.”
Niamh brings professionally mixed beats to teach you choreographed dance sequences you’ll be proud to break out or bust out at any opportunity. The class finishes up with a few minutes of hoop yoga to stretch those hard working muscles.
