In Chicago Cubs moves, Yucatecan pitcher Manuel "Bolon" Rodriguez was sent to the Tennessee Smokies, Chicago's Double A team.
With this, everything seems to indicate that Rodríguez will start the season in the Minor Leagues. For now, he is recovering from the injury sustained in the preseason game against the Seattle Mariners.
Congratulations to Manuel “Bolón” Rodríguez, a Yucatecan pitcher, who debuted in the preseason for the @Cubs in Chicago against the @Mariners in Seattle, in the big leagues. Keep raising the name of # Yucatan and # Mexico. pic.twitter.com/v0XoJMjnsD

“Bolón” was the first Yucatecan to be part of the 40-player roster in a Major League Baseball (MLB) team.
In the Mexican Baseball League (LMB) he played with Leones de Yucatán, where he debuted in 2015.
