The Local Enterprise Week was launched this morning by Mayor Sarah Holland in LEO South Dublin Office, Belgard Square. The Mayor was followed by a speech from Colm Ward, Head of Enterprise at LEO South Dublin.
Local Enterprise Week is an annual event that offers a host of workshops and training sessions to help people set up or run their own business. The events vary in price from Free to €30 and are bookable online here.
The sessions include:
Monday March 7th: Start Up Workshop; Communications Skills; The Secrets to engaging and audience, Funding and Finance and a Networking Event.
Tuesday March 8th: Online Marketing on a Shoestring; Increase your confidence and your job opportunities and Packed Lunch: “Branding & Sales Skills”
Wednesday March 9th: Doing Business in the USA; The Perfect Pitch; how to craft and deliver a 60 second pitch; Public Procurement; Dublin Food Chain Event-UCD Group Food Mentor Evening and The Highs and Lows and Lessons Learned of Successful Entrepreneur and All Ireland Winning County Footballer Philly McMahon.
Thursday March 10th: The Secret to Generating Sales Leads; Simple Steps to Greening Your Business and Saving Money; Things to Consider Before Starting Your Business; Peel Your Own Orange; It’s Your Business; Recruitment and Employment Law Workshop; Becoming a Market Trader.
Friday March 11th: Masterclass in Entrepreneurship.
