Ecoweek 2016 was officially launched here at the Square today, Monday April 18th on the Centre Mall. Ecoweek is an international non-governmental non-profit organisation with the mission to raise awareness on Environmental issues, Climate Change and to promote the principles of Sustainability.

We have a number of great speakers from various organisations here to speak to our customers over the next four days, organisations like the SDCC Environment Awareness Dept and WEEE Ireland with advice to help you help the environment while saving money.

Ecoweek is celebrating 10 years of activity this year and has organised and co-organised events in 12 countries around the world and so we here at The Square are excited to be part of it!

Those hosting an information stand here this week are:

Monday 18th April  12 – 2pm: WEEE Ireland

Tuesday 19th April 12 – 2pm: Eastern-Midlands Regional Waste Office c/o Dublin City Council
