Hundreds of passengers due to head away on holiday today from Dublin have had their flights cancelled because of industrial action in France with fifteen Ryanair flights into and out of Dublin cancelled.

French air traffic controllers are protesting over slowing recruitment and a reported lack of investment in the sector. Passengers travelling through Cork and Shannon will not be impacted.

Ryanair took to their Twitter page this morning providing customers with the information on cancelations and also to inform them that they will be updated over email or on the mobile number the provided at the time of booking.

In a statement, Ryanair said it;

“sincerely apologises for any delays or inconvenience caused by these disruptions which are outside of our control”
