First Late Late Show of 2016

The first Late Late Show of 2016 is tonight and with the year that is in it they plan on having a panel discussion of the upcoming 1916 commemorations and celebrations.

The discussion will feature broadcaster Ivan Yates, artist Robert Ballagh, writer Martina Devlin and, with his own unique take on it, Blindboy Boatclub from The Rubberbandits.

As well as that, the new master of the Rotunda, Professor Fergal Malone will join Ryan to discuss the challenges facing the Irish health service. Author of terrific book ‘Room’ Emma Donoghue will be in for a chat and there will be music from up and coming Dublin duo Morrissey and Marshall as well as country favourite Tommy Fleming.

While the show will be celebrating the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s birth with a performance from one of the world’s best Elvis impersonators Ben Portsmouth.
