The Cinematheque in Bogotá reinvented its programming and now presents it via streaming.
The viewer joins the transmission "Live the Cinematheque at home”, The initiative with which the Bogotá Cinematheque accompanies citizens in their homes with the audiovisual arts. (We recommend: The Spectator joins the Pacific Musical Marathon against the coronavirus).
It must be remembered that the Bogotá Cinematheque closed its doors following the health recommendations that seek to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, but the curtain did not drop and the spaces are still open, via the internet.
After a reinvention, the weekend they inaugurated the digital programming with the projection of three short films by Cinemateca Rodante. From this week the broadcasts include film readings, virtual classrooms and workshops that can be done without leaving home; as well as a billboard of Colombian films divided into Franja memoria, Colombia en shorts and Cinemateca Rondante that will be temporarily hosted on the YouTube channel of the Cinemateca de Bogotá.
Likewise, they opened a Cinema Club via Facebook Live and the Cinemateca space recommends that it suggest interesting content from the audiovisual world.
All these multimedia contents will be available on the Cinematheque's website and social networks. Likewise, live broadcasts can be seen on The viewer.
