Dublin and Mayo must do it all again!

Dublin and Mayo will meet again next Saturday (Throw in at 5pm) following yesterday’s 2-12 to 1-15 draw in a packed and tense Croke Park .

The Dubs on the hill thought it was in the bag and were dreaming of another All Ireland Final against the old enemy Kerry when with just 10 minutes left on the clock they were cruising and were leading by 2-12 to 0-11, but that was it for the Dublin scores for the day and Mayo scored 1-04 without reply including a controversial penalty which was converted by Cillian O’Connor.

Although not a classic encounter it was a game that was full of incident and intrigue, the Dubs were awarded two black cards, Micheal Dara Macauley and his replacement Dennis Bastick and one red with Diarmuid Connolly receiving his marching orders and he will be suspended for the replay!

Tickets are on sale and its going to be a cracking game so get them early, Up the Dubs!
