Today is the day people begin to give up on their New Year’s Resolutions, don’t let that be you! Set yourself short-term goals but most importantly make sure they are realistic. It they are not realistic, you will lose the interest and motivation to make it happen. When you look in the mirror what do you want to see? Because for me, I want to see the best version of myself. The key to succeeding in anything you want to do is yourself. you are the only person that can make your dream happen.
Don’t just dream about your goals, do everything in your power to learn what you have to learn, do what you have to do and win what you want to win. Don’t back out, keep fighting towards your dream! I’m going to admit, it’s not going to be easy, no one is going to hand you your dream on a silver platter, you have to work for it!
This is YOUR year. This doesn’t mean your personality has to change but maybe change your attitude. Make sure you work as hard as you possibly can. Believe me, the feeling of achievement is second to none. That feeling of achieving your goals even if they’re small, is incredible. Do you have exams coming up? What information do you need? Find it, research it and study to the best of your ability, but don’t give up just because you get tired, take a minute break and get straight back into it.
Are you trying to lose weight or get fit? Start working harder at the gym, jogging faster and eating clean. Don’t just stop because you are feeling that burning pain, pain is only temporary. It could last for a minute, or an hour or a day but eventually something better will take it’s place. If you quit, the pain will last forever.
