Concert to mark 1916 on Easter Sunday


Easter Sunday is fast approaching and events have been organised right up and down the country with many in Dublin City Centre.

Over the weekend RTÉ announced details of A Nation’s Voice, a free concert in Collins Barracks on Easter Sunday which will feature the premiere of “One Hundred Years a Nation”, a major new work performed by a 1,100-strong choir and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.

Composed by Shaun Davey with text by writer Paul Muldoon, “One Hundred Years a Nation” will be broadcast live as part of A Nation’s Voice on RTÉ One, RTÉ Radio 1 and on Easter Sunday, March 27.
