Plans have been announced for several free village festivals right across South Dublin County this Summer.
The locally run festivals will be taking place in Tallaght, Clondalkin, Lucan and Rathfarnham with events also planned for Palmerstown and Glenasmole.
With community events, activities for the whole family and crafts, games and entertainment there is plenty on offer for the whole family.
The Summer of Village Festivals will kick off tomorrow, June 24th, with Tallafest taking place in the historical area of Tallaght Village, where local groups will showcase their services.

Radfest will take place in Rathfarnham this weekend too while the Palmerstown Village festival takes place from June 27th until July 2nd.
This weekend will also see the Flavours of Dublin Food Festival taking place at Rathfarnham Castle on Sunday, June 25th. This is the first year of the festival, which is sponsored by Energia, and will see local food showcased in the impressive surrounds of Rathfarnham Castle. The event starts at 11am and admission is free, there will also be fce painting and balloon activities for children.
The Clondalkin Village Festival will be on July 7th to 9th with lots of different activities for families as well as entertainment, guided tours and a chance to visit the historic Round Tower.
The ‘Big Day Out’ will take place in Clondalkin Village on July 9th and all are welcome to come along and join in the fun.
The Glenasmole Ceili at the Crossroads is set to take place on July 22 while the Clondalkin Handcraft and Horticultural Fair will take place later in the year on October 1st.
The Lucan Village Festival returns this September, kicking off on the 6th and culminating in a community day on September 10th.
Once again the festival will coincide with the very successful Open Day of Lucan Garda Station and will also feature international food stalls, songs and dancing from around the world and historic walking tours.
