Boden man wins top prize in prediction game


Ballyboden Sean McGarvey has won the overall prize in the Allianz Football League Prediction Game after beating 8,148 competitors.

The Allianz League Prediction Game tests GAA fans’ knowledge across the Hurling and Football Leagues with fans competing against each other and scoring points by predicting winning teams and score margins for a chance to win cash prizes for themselves and their respective GAA clubs.

The Prediction Games run in tandem with the Allianz League fixtures each weekend and the better you are at predicting winners/draw and score margins the more points you earn.

In winning the overall Football Prediction Game Sean McGarvey beat 8,148 competitors to claim the grand prize of €500 for himself and €2,500 for Ballyboden St Enda’s GAA Club.

Over the 10 weeks of the competition Sean amassed a brilliantly impressive 2090 points which was 57 points better than his nearest rival for the prize!
