This digital wallet transforms the cell phone into a means of payment in itself, allowing you to make purchases safely without needing cash or physical cards.

Promerica Pay is the new digital payment experience of Banco Promerica that allows you to make payments with credit or debit cards of the Visa brand using only the cell phone and taking advantage of contactless technology.

This technology allows the mobile phone to become a means of payment in itself, reducing contact with the use of cash or physical cards, which adds great value at a time when taking care of health requires a rethink of everything that people do, even everyday activities like paying for services.

The operation of Promerica Pay allows digitizing Banco Promerica credit or debit cards so that the user can choose with which they want to make their payments. In this way, the cardholder has more security for their cards when using them in a virtual way, it also has a fingerprint authentication and includes a payment history for each card.

“The information of the credit and debit cards of the cardholders are linked to the telephone through a process of enrollment with high-security standards that allow the card to be digitized easily and safely on the mobile device,” explained Bernal Alfaro Business Manager Cards of credit.

Promerica Pay has no cost for Banco Promerica customers and to access this service you just have to download the application from the Google Play Store.

It is available only for Android devices.

“Promerica Pay complements traditional payment methods by offering a new digital payment experience to all our cardholders interested in using new technologies and facilitating their payments in stores,” said Alfaro.

With the introduction of Promerica Pay to the market, the bank wants to promote the adoption of new technologies that are setting trends in the financial sector and that customers feel motivated to regularly use this form of payment.
