The Dublin Port Tunnel is known to take the stress out of traveling for commuters during rush hour traffic the same cannot be said for a pregnant mother who took the trip yesterday.
Yesterday morning a baby was born in the Port Tunnel during rush hour traffic. Swords ambulance crews say they delivered a baby boy while on the way to Holles Street Hospital. Swords Ambulance Service announced the news via their Twitter account last night.
A spokesperson said:
“Swords crews assisted in the delivery baby boy in Dublin Port Tunnel yesterday ys morn while enroute to Holles st best wishes to mum & baby.”
