DAA creating 350 new jobs

Dublin Airport has announced 350 new jobs which is a great boost for the area. The jobs are to be in the areas of security, customer service, and asset management, comprising of 170 personnel already recruited in 2015 and 180 to be recruited in the coming weeks.

Dublin Airport had its busiest ever year in 2015, as a record 25 million passengers travelled through the airport. This was a 15% increase with an additional 3.3 million people using Dublin Airport during 2015. The new jobs are being created to cope with the growing passenger numbers according to the DAA.

The growth in passenger numbers is expected to continue into 2016 and the impact of these additional passengers will be felt right across the country, but especially here in Dublin.
