Killian Brennan returns to The Hoops

Shamrock Rovers have completed the signing of Killian Brennan. Having played for The Hoops in 2012, making 24 appearances, he moved to St Pats in 2013 where he has played for the last three seasons. The highly rated midfielder, who has been one of the most consistent performers in the league in recent years, has worked with Hoops boss Fenlon previously and links up with his brother Gavin who recently resigned for next season.

Pat Fenlon said, “I am delighted to get Killian, he is one of the best players in the league over the past few seasons. We fought off stiff competition from St Pat’s to get his signature and I am delighted we have been able to secure it.

“Killian has probably played more games for me than he has with any other manager, I know his game, I know what he can do for Shamrock Rovers and he knows what I expect from him. He also brings experience to our squad that will enable our younger players to learn from him.

Killian can change games and be a match winner on any given day; we look forward to working with him at Rovers in the new season”.

The club also confirms that French defender Maxime Blanchard has agreed terms for 2016 and has re-signed.
